Wedding planning can be stressful and we know you want to look stunning in your beautiful dress. Months before your big day, there’s a few things you can do to make sure you don’t have an epic wedding fail.

Book the right Makeup Artist

A Major key to looking fabulous on your wedding day is booking the right makeup artist whose experienced and provides strong communication from start to finish. While your photographer may be very talented, a rookie makeup job is one thing you'll have to stomach in your wedding pictures. We recommend using your engagement session as a trial run to see if you like their style.

Proper budget

Leave extra budget

This is often overlooked, but never forgotten - budget for alterations for your dress. It's very common for brides to need last minute alterations at 30 to 60 days before the wedding. The point here isn't the need for alterations, but how much it can cost you. 

Based on what we've heard from previous brides and bridal boutiques, these alterations can cost anywhere from $500 to $2000 so make sure you're leaving enough budget for that!

Book the right photographer

You want to know how to look good on your wedding day? Well last but not least, book a professional photographer. While you may have a family friend who can do it for cheaper, they're not trained and skilled to pose you in a way that tells the story of your day or to direct you wedding party to bring out genuine and authentic expressions.
